Amazon and Purdue have opened a Purdue Student Store on the online retailer’s website. Students at the university can take advantage of the store to get lower prices on textbooks and other school items. The store opened up for the first time on Tuesday.

The Amazon, Purdue team up will also include opening pick-up and drop-off locations at the university’s campus. The first of these locations is expected to be opened in early 2015. Sales made through the Purdue store will also have the online retailer returning a percentage of the cost to the school when it can. This money will go toward the university’s student affordability and accessibility initiatives.

The deal between Amazon and Purdue is expected to save college students roughly 30% a year on textbooks, which comes to about $6 million. Classroom materials make up about 12% of a four year Purdue student’s tuition.

AMZN shares were up 1% as of Thursday afternoon,
