Facebook (FB) is planning to make yet another change to the way users’ News Feed works.

fb-facebook-news-feedFacebook is planning to change its News Feed to show users information that is more relevant to them. This will include keeping track of what’s trending and showing users statuses from friends who may be doing the same thing, such as watching the same TV show, the company said in a blog.

The Facebook blog also mentions that users will be seeing less old content in their News Feeds. This will be due to changes in how the social media website looks at comments, likes and shares. Many users currently see older posts that have a high amount of interaction. This is due to a previous change to the website’s News Feed. However, this new update will change when posts show up based on when users interact with it.

Facebook says that these updates will be rolling out slowly. This means users won’t likely notice the small changes over time. The website recommends that users continue to publish posts as they normally would.

FB shares were down slightly as of Friday afternoon.
