Tesla Motors’ (TSLA) Model S is getting a software update that will be delivered soon.
The new update will put Software v6.0 on Model S vehicles. The update was announced last week and will bring several new feature to the Model S.
Here are some of the best new features being brought to the Tesla Model S in the Software v6.0 update.
- Remote Start — Model S owners will be able to remote start their cars with an app on their smartphones.
- Name Your Car — The Software v6.0 update will allow owners to officially name their cars.
- Power Management Options — These new options will allow users to set the Models S to go into a power saving mode at night to conserve energy.
- Calender — Model S owners will be able to link their calenders with their schedules on it to the vehicle.
- Commute Advice – This new feature has the car checking to see if there are traffic changes along an owner’s daily commute before they even start it up.
