Technology stocks rose broadly on Wall Street so far on Friday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 1.1%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.8% higher, the Nasdaq climbed 1.3% and the S&P 500 rose 0.8%.

Some of the biggest gainers among technology stocks include:

• Imperva Inc (IMPV): IMPV stock is up 23.2% today and up 51.5% in the last month.

• Spansion Inc (CODE): CODE stock is up 19.2% today.

• Linkedin (LNKD): LNKD stock is up 12.4% today.

• Freescale Semiconductor Holdin (FSL): FSL stock is up 13.1% today.

• Virtusa Corp (VRTU): VRTU stock is up 8.1% today.

• Atmel Corp (ATML): ATML stock is up 7.0% today.

• Microchip Technology Inc (MCHP): MCHP stock is up 6.3% today.

• RF Micro Devices (RFMD): RFMD stock is up 6.4% today and up 25.6% in the last month.

• Triquint Semiconductor (TQNT): TQNT stock is up 6.3% today and up 30.8% in the last month.

• Tessera Technologies (TSRA): TSRA stock is up 5.9% today.

Some of the biggest losers among technology stocks include:

• Trimble Navigation Limited (TRMB): TRMB stock is down 15.0% today.

• Changyou.Com Limited (CYOU): CYOU stock is down 3.3% today.

• Aci Worldwide (ACIW): ACIW stock is down 2.0% today.

• Lg Display Co. Limited American (LPL): LPL stock is down 2.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Cae Inc (CAE): CAE stock is down 1.1% today.

• Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc (TYPE): TYPE stock is down 0.8% today.

• Perfect World Co. (PWRD): PWRD stock is down 0.5% today.

• Riverbed Technology (RVBD): RVBD stock is down 0.5% today.

• Perkinelmer (PKI): PKI stock is down 0.4% today.

• Generac Holdings Inc (GNRC): GNRC stock is down 0.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
