Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg flew to Seoul to met with Samsung Electronics. This has led to speculation that the two could be working on a new phone, reports Business Insider.

Facebook has tried partnering for phones focused on its social media platform in the past, but these attempts never took off. The two companies are currently teaming up on virtual reality and it’s possible this is what the meeting was about, Business Insider notes.

It’s also possible that a deal between Facebook and Samsung could lead to more of the social media company’s apps coming on the tech company’s devices. Another piece of speculation claims that the two could be in talks about wearable technology for FB, reports NDTV.
