The Google Doodle being used for Halloween 2014 shows the “O’ in the company’s name turn into a werewolf when a full moon rises. All of the other letters in the company’s name quickly flee to one side of the image to escape the werewolf.

In its current form, Halloween acts as a time for people to celebrate by dressing up in costumes and attending parties. There are also parades and other events that celebrate the holiday. Kids typically dress up for Halloween and go trick-or-treating for candy.

According to History.com, Halloween’s origins come from the Celtic holiday of Samhain. This day marked the end of harvest season and the start of winter. It was believed that the dead could walk among the living on this day.

Celebrate Halloween 2014 with these images and quotes that can be shared via social media.
