Friday Apple Rumors: Flash Memory Not to Blame for iPhone 6 Plus Crash

The Fitbit devices were available at the company’s online store and at physical Apple Stores. They have now been completely removed from the online store and are being phased out of the company’s physical retail locations. The exact reason for the removal of Fitbit from the company’s retail locations in unknown, but it does comes after Fitbit announced it didn’t plan to integrate HealthKit into its products. Other health trackers, such as Jawbone, are still being sold by the company.

iCloud: An update to the iCloud.com beta is now allowing users to upload photos through their browsers, AppleInsider notes. The feature allows users to click the “Upload” button and select pictures to store on iCloud. After images are sent to the iCloud, users can access them from iOS devices and Macs. The feature isn’t available for use by normal iCloud users as there is a separate websites for beta users. Those using iCloud through a web browser still don’t have the ability to upload videos to iCloud.

iPhone: Owners of a 128GB iPhone 6 Plus with large app libraries shouldn’t be looking for a recall of the devices, reports BGR. Several users that have been affected by crashing and glitches due to large app libraries thought that there might have been an issue with the NAND flash memory in the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus. This train of thought came from a report out of South Korea that blamed the problem on the NAND flash memory. However, it’s now believed that Apple knows of the issue and that the problem doesn’t lie in the NAND flash memory.
