The Halo 5 multiplayer beta is now live for select gamers.

Gamers that picked up the Halo: The Master Chief Collection were given access to the Halo 5 multiplayer beta. The beta gives players a taste of the game long before it comes out. An exact release date for the game isn’t available , but it’s scheduled to come out in late 2015, reports Engadget.

News that the Halo 5 multiplayer beta was going live today was announced via the game’s official Twitter (TWTR) handle. The announcement stated that the game went live at 12:00 p.m. Eastern.

Those who don’t own the Halo: The Master Chief Collection can still get a look at the Halo 5 multiplayer beta. Several users on Twtich are streaming footage of the beta.

The Halo: The Master Chief Collection is only available on Microsoft’s (MSFT) Xbox One.
