John Sculley, former CEO of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), is being sued by his ex-wife for allegedly hiding millions during their divorce.
According to the lawsuit, John Sculley hid $25 million in assets from his wife during their divorce in 2011. He reported in 2010 that their combined assets in 2010 was $4.8 million. She claims he hide the assets with the help of his brothers, reports Business Insider.
John Sculley’s spokesman released a statement saying that the allegations that were made are false. he said that the information is regarding a lawsuit that has been going on for years. He also said that attempts to bring media pressure onto Sculley by leaking information from the case are part of efforts to force him to settle, Business Insider.
Fillings from 2013 alleged that John Sculley created an investment firm with his brothers to hide the assets. The firm was named Sculley Brothers. His ex-wife claims he was moving assets away from her for over a decade before their divorce, reports Daily Mail.
