Suge Knight was arrested at 3 a.m. on Friday for a Los Angeles murder.

Suge Knight is a rap mogul that co-founded Death Row Records. A man fitting his description got into an argument with two people at a restaurant on Thursday. The man backed into one of the two people before running both of them over in their pickup truck and leaving the scene, reports Reuters.

One of the people that was allegedly ran over by Suge Knight died while in the hospital. The other is in the hospital and their condition is unknown. Knight was in an altercation with these people earlier, Reuters notes.

“He was in the process of being physically assaulted by two men,” James Blatt, Suge Knight’s lawyer, told The New York Times. “We are confident that once the investigation is completed, he will be totally exonerated.”
