iOS: A new beta for Apple’s iOS 8.3 has been released to developers, BGR notes. The new beta includes several changes and additional features. The iOS 8.3 beta includes fixes for CarPlay, app extensions and WatchKit. There are also some known issues that the company has alerted developers of in the release notes for the new beta.

MacBook: A new report claims that third-party accessories will be allowed for the new 12-inch MacBook, 9to5Mac notes. According to the report, Apple will let third-party manufacturers create several accessories that will be usable with the USB-C port on the device. The report cites unnamed sources that claim almost any third-party accessories will be allowed. These sources also claim that the tech company will allow for third-party battery packs for the new MacBook. This would be the first time that Apple has allowed a third-party battery pack for MacBooks.
