In a series of recently leaked training documents, it was revealed that the Apple Watch will only be sold to customers with reservations to buy them. This is expected to last until the hype around the item’s debut dies down and is believed to be due to limited supplies, reports Cnet.

Customers that do reserve an appointment to buy an Apple Watch will have to specify which version they want and what band they want with it. This can be done online or at an Apple Store after having tried the device on during its preview phase, which lasts from April 10 to April 24, Cnet notes.

People that make appointments to try on the Apple Watch before its release won’t be given the option of trying on different bands. This is because try-on times for the device are very limited, reports AppleInsider.
