Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) has launched a new nostalgia-fueled feature called “On This Day”.
On This Day is a page that provides a look into Facebook users’ past with old posts, photos and statuses that they have been tagged in. The feature isn’t available to everyone yet, but it started being rolled out globally on Tuesday.
Facebook users can’t see other users’ On This Day page unless they are shared. The page can be accessed via this link. Users may also see a story in their News Feed alerting them of On This Day.
On This Day will specifically show content to users that was posted on the same day years ago. The new feature can include content from one, two, three and more years from a user’s past. Users also have the option of deleting and editing old posts that are shown with this feature.
