• Teck Resources Ltd (TCK): TCK stock is up 3.0% today.

• National Steel Corp (SID): SID stock is up 3.6% today.

• Southern Peru Copper Corp (SCCO): SCCO stock is up 2.9% today.

• Freeport-Mcmoran Inc. (FCX): FCX stock is up 2.6% today.

• Vale S.A. (VALE): VALE stock is up 2.6% today.

• A. Schulman (SHLM): SHLM stock is up 2.3% today.

• Steel Dynamics (STLD): STLD stock is up 2.4% today.

• Commercial Metals Company (CMC): CMC stock is up 2.3% today.

• Ferro Corp (FOE): FOE stock is up 1.9% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Anglogold Ashanti Ltd (AU): AU stock is down 2.6% today and down 20.7% in the last month.

• Mrc Global Inc (MRC): MRC stock is down 1.7% today.

• Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 1.6% today.

• Pohang Iron & Steel Co. (PKX): PKX stock is down 1.6% today.

• Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is down 1.8% today.

• New Gold Inc (NGD): NGD stock is down 1.4% today.

• Randgold Resources Limited (GOLD): GOLD stock is down 1.2% today.

• Royal Gold (RGLD): RGLD stock is down 1.0% today.

• Domtar Corp (UFS): UFS stock is down 1.1% today.
