The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has approved Palcohol, a powered form of alcohol, for sale in the U.S.

palcohol-powdered-alcoholPalcohol comes in a small packet that allows users to mix the contents into water to create mixed drinks. Flavors include vodka, rum, cosmopolitan and a margarita flavor. There is also a lemon drop flavor, but it hasn’t been approved yet, reports ABC News.

Palcohol is expected to go on sale this summer. Some have come out against the new product and several states are working to ban it. There is concern that it will make it easier for kids to drink while underage, ABC News notes.

The packages that Palcohol comes in can also be used as a glass for the drinks. Water is added to the bag and it’s closed and shaken to make the mixed drink, reports Washington Post.
