Sprint Corp (NYSE:S) has launched a new service called “Direct 2 You” to help customers upgrade their smartphones.

sprint-direct-2-you-sThe Direct 2 You service from Sprint has a representative from the company showing up at a customer’s home, or location of choice, to deliver their new smartphones to them. They will bring their own W-Fi connection, several other smartphones in case the customer changes their mind and can give customers with poor signal in their homes a booster, reports CNNMoney.

The Direct 2 You upgrade program is currently limited to Sprint customers living in Kansas City, Missouri and includes 5,000 vehicles with representatives driving them. Customer looking to take advantage of the new program must be eligible for an upgrade. The company representatives can also reset old phones and take them as part of a buyback program, CNNMoney notes.

“It’s as if we are adding 5,000 additional stores,” Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure, told Mashable. “However, these mobile stores will be continuously on the move based on customer demand.”
