Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) is planning a redesign for its website that will launch in June.

The Netflix redesign ditches the auto-spinning carousel of shows in favor of one that requires clicks to move forward. Another change is that clicking on a show expands it out to show infomration about it. Both of these changes speed up the time users spent searching for shows on the service, reports The Inquisitr.

There have been a few customers that have reported already seeing the new Netflix redesign. These customers are acting as testers before the changes go live next month. This update is a large one and will be the first to the website since 2011, The Inquisitr notes.

According to The Verge, the new Netflix redesign feel very similar to the user interface found on its tablet app. However, this appears to run more smoothly that the mobile interface.
