Wal-Mart Takes on Amazon Prime With $50 Unlimited Shipping

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) is looking to take on Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) with new unlimited shipping offers.

This will put the cost of the service at $50 a year. Members of the service will get free three-day shipping from the retailer, reports CNNMoney

Wal-Mart hasn’t announced if the new subscription service will ever be opened up to everyone. However, it did say that customer feedback related to the service will determine how it is changed in the future, CNNMoney notes.

According to the Associated Press, the new Wal-Mart service won’t include the ability to stream videos or music. These are features that members of Amazon Prime have access to.
