The company’s cited strong sales of the smartwatch as its reason for speeding up its adoption of AAPL products in stores. This means that all of its 1,050 stores in America will carry the Watch and the retailer is also looking to promote more of the company’s products in its stores. It had previously planned to have the smartwatch available in 350 stores for the holiday season.

Watch: A new rumor claims that there will still be an Apple Watch 2 released next year, 9to5Mac notes. According to the rumor, there was speculation that AAPL wouldn’t release a new version of the Watch every year. One piece of info that supported this idea was the rumor that the tech company will release smartbands that will add new abilities to the Watch early next year. However, an insider source claims that these new smartbands won’t stop the Watch from being upgraded yearly just like Apple’s other devices.

Event: Apple may be renting out the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco for its iPhone event, reports AppleInsider. The tech company’s name doesn’t specifically come up in documents that mention a private event that will be held at the venue, but there are a few pieces of information that lead some to believe it will be AAPL. For example, the event that will be held at the location will last from Sept. 4 through Sept. 13, which falls in line with rumored dates for the company’s iPhone event. However, the auditorium can seat up to 7,000 people, which is much more than the 1,500 to 2,400 that the company has invited to its events in the past.
