SUNE, GS: SunEdison, Goldman Sachs Team Up on $1B Investment Vehicle

SunEdison (NYSE:SUNE) and Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) have teamed up to form a $1 billion investment vehicle.

SunEdisonSunEdison is a global renewable energy company that helps develop and build solar power plants and wind energy plants.

Construction costs will be funded by warehouse investment vehicle WSIP Warehouse, and the company will acquire operating assets.

“Our new warehouse supports SunEdison’s 2016 guidance for growth, reinforces the depth of demand for investors participating in SunEdison’s warehouse platform and provides repeatable and scalable funding for the future,” said SunEdison CFO Brian Wuebbels.

SUNE stock is down 1.3% Tuesday. GS stock is down 0.6%.
