The tech company released the Move to iOS app on the Google (GOOG,GOOGL) Play Store on Wednesday. It allows users to transfer most of their data from an Android device to an iOS 9 device. While the app has only been on the Store for roughly one day, it has already been hit with more than 9,000 one-star reviews as of Thursday afternoon. It currently has more than 2,000 five-star reviews.

Beta: Apple has released the first OS X El Capitan 10.11.1 beta to developers. MacRumors notes. The new beta can be downloaded via the Mac App Store and the Apple Developer Center. It has a build number of 15B17c and will likely include bug fixes. Changes that have already been spotted in the new beta are support for Unicode 8 and a range of new emojis. The beta was released before OS X El Capitan has even been sent out to users, which will happen at the end of this month.

Earbuds: Apple has updated a patent for headphones that can sense pressure from a wearer’s ear, reports AppleInsider. The newly-updated patent details a system that would allow earbuds, earphones and headphones to change volume levels depending on how they fit inside a person’s ear.  This would be achieved via sensors made from Quantum Tunneling Composites and users would be able to adjust settings for the earbuds. The updated patent could mean that the company is making headway on the product and that it could see a release, possibly in the Beats product line.
