Here are your Apple Rumors for today:

apple-rumors-force-touch-keyboards-aapliOS: Apple (AAPL) has released the second iOS 9.2 beta to developers, reports MacRumors. The new beta is listed as build 13C5060d. It can be downloaded through an over-the-air update or from the tech company’s Developer Center. It comes just a week after the first iOS 9.2 beta was released to developers. This update for the iOS 9.2 beta mostly includes bug fixes for issues that were discovered in the first iOS 9.2 beta. However, it also introduces the ability to close Safari View Controller with a swipe.

TV: Apple’s first tvOS 9.1 beta has been released to developers, AppleInsider notes. The new beta can be downloaded from the Developer Center. It’s unknown what new features will be released with tvOS 9.1 as the notes that were released with the new beta don’t shed much light on the matter. The new beta was released not even a week after the fourth-generation Appl TV was released to the public. This new beta is only compatible with the new TV and requires a Siri remote.

Patent: A new Apple patent details a system that could be used to add Force Touch to keyboards, reports Digital Trends. The new patent describes how the tech company could removed switches from keyboards in favor of its own Force Touch technology. This change would likely allow users to issue more specific commands through their keyboards based on the pressure they put on certain keys. The removal of the switches for the keys would also allow the company to make its laptops slightly thinner. It’s unknown if this technology will ever actually be used by AAPL.
