Red Star OS is a highly modified version of Linux Fedora and it has a large focus on collecting data from its users. A copy of the operating system was recently obtained by German researchers, who described it as “the wet dream of a surveillance state dictator.” The overall appearance of the system is almost identical to AAPL’s OS X.

Battery: A new rumor claims that the iPhone 6c will have a 1,642 mAh battery, MacRumors notes. This would make the battery of the rumored iPhone 6c larger than the 1,570 mAh one found inside the iPhone 5c. This rumor also claims that the new iPhone will have 2GB of RAM, an A9 processor, 16GB of storage and Touch ID. Suppliers are believed to be preparing for production of the device to start next month.

iPhone: The iPhone 7 line of smartphones may be waterproof, reports AppleInsider. It’s unknown exactly how the tech company will make its new iPhones waterproof, but it has been working to make its devices more resistant to water lately. The tech company is also reportedly working on new compound materials that will be used to conceal the smartphones’ antennas. It’s possible that this part could be integrated directly into the case of the device.
