If Starbucks polar bear cookies aren’t ringing a bell with you, don’t be surprised. The cookies were discontinued back in 2010. However, that hasn’t stopped the internet from dragging an old image of the cookies up and creating a controversy, reports Yahoo News.
According to Yahoo News, the Starbucks polar bear cookies have red scarfs across their necks. Unfortunately, some people online are now claiming that these aren’t scarfs, but are actually slit throats. Why this matters five years after the cookies have been discontinued, or at all, is anyone’s guess.
