apple-rumors-ios-to-android-app-aaplWatch: Apple (AAPL) has started hiring more medical employees ahead of the rumored Apple Watch 2 launch, reports BuzzFeed. The tech company has posted four job listings for workers in its health technology segment since November. It’s also hired a minimum of five people with medical research and development backgrounds. It’s possible that these workers are being brought on to help with the development of the Watch 2, which is rumored to be getting a release this year.

App: Apple has denied rumors that its working on an app to help iOS users move to Android devices, Digital Trends notes. A spokeswoman for the company said that there was “no truth to this rumor” and that it was focused on pulling users from Android to its own devices. The rumor claimed that wireless providers were demanding an app that helps users switch from iOS to Android to keep AAPL from growing too large to negotiate with.

Audio: Apple is working on a way to get better audio out of smaller devices, reports 9to5Mac. A patent filed by the company talks about the problems of trying to get good quality audio out of smaller devices. One possible solution to this that the patent mentions is adding larger audio chambers to the devices. This would allow for more air to be pushed out of the device. It’s not exactly clear how AAPL would do this, but it may chose to create audio chambers out of sections of its handheld devices that already contain other parts.
