Google Home is Alphabet Inc’s (GOOG,GOOGL) rival to Amazon.com, Inc.’s (AMZN) Amazon Echo.
Google Home was announced by the tech company during its Google I/O 2016 developer conference that was held on Wednesday.

- A price has yet to be announced for it.
- The device isn’t mobile and will need to be plugged in.
- Google Home will have a powerful speaker to make it a viable option for listening to music.

- Multiples of the device can be set up in a single home.
- There will be no developer API when it launches.
