PlayStation Plus Free Games for September 2016

Sony Corp (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) has announced the September selection of PlayStation Plus free games.

PlayStation Plus free gamesEach month, the company reveals six games that are available for download free of cost as long as you’re willing to pay for a subscription of PlayStation Plus. This month’s list includes games for a variety of consoles, including the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.

The first title is a PS4 game called Lords of the Fallen, which is an action role-playing game where you battle beasts, twisted creatures all while attempting to survive pernicious situations.

The other PS4 game on the list of PlayStation Plus free games is Journey, which is also available for PS3. In this game, you play as a robed figure that travels through the desert with graphics that put most games to shame, as well as a well-crafted soundtrack

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a game that is exclusively for PS3 where you play as the title character in a quest through the desert where he learns plenty from his brother Malik. You battle Solomon’s Army, which are terrifying creatures made of sand.

First-person adventure game Datura is a PS3 title where you play a character who finds himself in a forest where you get to explore your surroundings and interact with characters nearby.

The first PS Vita game on tab is a game called Badland where you face a number of obstacles at different times of the day in the woods. The game is also available for PS4 and PS3 gamers.

Finally, there is Amnesia: Memories where you are a character named Heroine who awakens to find a spirit named Orion that helps you regain your memories as you explore a world as a stranger who is trying to remember what happened.

SNE stock is down 0.1% Thursday.
