Girl Scout Cookies will now exist in the shape of cereal.

Girl Scout Cookies

General Mills, Inc. (NYSE:GIS) is creating the cereal versions of the ever-popular Girl Scout Cookies, focusing on two of the best-selling flavors: Thin Mints and Caramel Crunch. The latter is one of the 12 flavors sold as Girl Scout Cookies, while the latter is not.

However, both will be sold under the brand, which has been around for nearly 100 years–since 1917. About 200 million boxes are sold per year, helping to raise funds to support a slate of positive causes.

The cereal will hit stores all around the nation in January with some proceeds benefiting the Girl Scouts of the United States of America. It is unclear whether or not more Girl Scout Cookies flavors will be released as cereal in the coming months.

The Instagram account “candyhunting” promoted the product with the following message: “New Limited Edition Girl Scouts Thin Mints cereal will be out soon! Caramel Crunch cereal will also be released at the same time. You heard it here first,” along with several hashtags including #cookies #thinmints #snackfoods #foodstagram.

A spokesperson for General Mills confirmed the matter, noting that both flavors will be available nationwide.

Fall lovers will also be excited to hear that this year marks the debut of Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, another General MIlls product.

GIS shares surged 0.3% Monday on the cereal news.
