Vans, Toy Story Team Up on New Sneaker Line

Vans, which is owned by VF Corp (NYSE:VFC), is teaming up with Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) for a new sneaker line.

The new sneaker line announce by Vans is called the “Disney•Pixar Toy Story Collection.” The line includes shoes that are covered in images of characters from the Toy Story films made by Disney.

Fans of the Toy Story series will also spot shoes that are based off of certain characters. This includes a pair that are based on Woody with cow print and denim on them. Another of the shoes looks like Sheriff Woody’s boot. It even says Andy on the soul of the shoe.

Buzz Lightyear also has his own shoes as part of the Van’s Disney•Pixar Toy Story Collection. One pair is based on his character’s design. Another is covered in images of the space ranger and the third has him and Woody hiding among a group of alien toys.

Other characters that appear in the Van’s Disney•Pixar Toy Story Collection are Bo Peep, Hamm, Slinky Dog and Rex. There is also another pair of sneakers that features the toys owned by Sid in the first movie.

The Van’s Disney•Pixar Toy Story Collection isn’t just limited to shoes. It will also feature other apparel, such as shirts and accessories. There will also be backpacks sold in the line.

The Van’s Disney•Pixar Toy Story Collection will offer shoes in both adult and kid sizes. It will go on sale Oct. 7, 2016 at physical retail locations and the company’s online store.
