McDonald’s Corporation is planning to release its Grand Mac and Mac Jr. to stores nationwide in early 2017. The two new menu items will only be available for a limited amount of time. The company is likely hoping to draw in customers with the new menu offerings.

The Grand Mac being added to McDonald’s Corporation’s menu in early 2017 is made with two 100% pure beef patties. Toppings on the burger include two slices of American cheese, lettuce, minced onions and pickles. It is served on a large sesame seed bun and is also covered in the chain’s special Big Mac sauce.

The Mac Jr. that is being added to McDonald’s Corporation’s menu early next year is made with a single 100% pure beef patty. It features all of the same toppings that are found on the Big Mac, but it cuts out the middle bun. This is designed to make the menu item easier to eat while travelling.

The new Big Mac variants were first tested out with customers earlier this year in Central Ohio, and Dallas and Forth Worth, Texas. McDonald’s Corporation’s customer living in Florida and the Pittsburgh area will be getting the new burgers earlier than the rest of the United States. The new menu items will be added in these areas in mid-November.

“We listened to our customers who told us they wanted different ways to enjoy the one-of-a-kind Big Mac taste,” Mike Haracz, McDonald’s Corporation’s Chef, said in a statement. “The classic combination of ingredients remains timeless and customers around the world continue to enjoy its signature taste.”
