Apple Could Break $1,600 Per Share: Forbes contributor Eric Jackson has published a report confidently predicting that Apple‘s (NASDAQ:AAPL) market value could hit $1,650 per share within the next four years. Jackson’s analysis hinges on recognizing that the market share Apple occupies through its constellation of products will likely continue to grow — rendering doomsaying around Apple’s status as a “bubble” tech stock demonstrably false. Public appetite for Apple’s iPod, iPad, iPhone and desktop computers is amplifying at a rate far above general consumer trends. Also, Apple’s pending entry into previously ignored sectors such as the streaming content market likely will be met with similar success — as the strength of Apple’s brand name and idiosyncratic design fosters a unique customer loyalty.

Apple Fails to Obtain Android Data: The latest entry in the ongoing patent battle between Apple and Motorola Mobility (NYSE:MMI), U.S. Circuit Judge Richard A. Posner ruled distinctly against Apple following a March 16 injunction. Bloomberg reports that Apple demanded MMI hand over all data regarding Google‘s (NASDAQ:GOOG) development of the Android operating system. Judge Posner subsequently penned a curt denial, stating, “The motion is vague and overbroad and Motorola’s objections are persuasive.” Apple has maintained an ongoing campaign to push Motorola into revealing a wide range of production data — with efforts ratcheting this February after Google obtained both U.S. and E.U. approval to initiate a $12.5 billion MMI acquisition.

New iPad Hotter Than Ever — Literally: The Washington Post reports that the New iPad produces significantly more heat than previous models. The newest generation of iPad is fitted with a far more sophisticated range of capabilities than older tablets. However, the leap in processing speed has resulted in the New iPad heating quicker and to much higher temperatures than those released previously. The newest model can reach up to 116 degrees Fahrenheit, whereas older iPads rarely strayed above 105.
