This week, the Metals and Mining, Energy Services, Computer and Personal Electronics, Oil and Gas, and Marine sectors rank lowest on the Portfolio Grader database.

The Metals and Mining sector is dragging, with 78% of its stocks (74 out of 95) rated a “sell”. Finishing near the bottom this week are Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE:CLF), Walter Energy (NYSE:WLT), and Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. (NYSE:TC) among the Metals and Mining stocks. Cliffs Natural Resources has a score of F while Walter Energy and Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. rated F and F. Walter Energy is the worst performer in this sector, with a 75.8% decline in the last 12 months.

With 63% of its stocks (35 out of 56) rated “sell,” the Energy Services sector is struggling this week. Among Energy Services stocks, Nuverra Environmental Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:NES), GulfMark Offshore, Inc. Class A (NYSE:GLF), and Key Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE:KEG) finished near the bottom. Nuverra Environmental Solutions, Inc. is currently rated F. GulfMark Offshore, Inc. Class A and Key Energy Services, Inc. are rated F and F. Overall, Key Energy Services, Inc. is the poorest performer in this sector. Its share price has dropped 45% in the last 12 months.

The Computer and Personal Electronics sector is lagging this week with 62% of its stocks (13 out of 21) rated a “sell”. Among Computer and Personal Electronics stocks, Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE:DBD), QLogic Corporation (NASDAQ:QLGC), and Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) lingered near the bottom. Diebold, Incorporated has a score of F while QLogic Corporation and Hewlett-Packard Company rated F and F. The worst performer in this sector is Hewlett-Packard Company, which saw its price sink 15.8% in the last 12 months.

The Oil and Gas sector looks weak, with 59% of its stocks (123 out of 208) rated a “sell”. Dwelling near the bottom this week are Enerplus Corporation (NYSE:ERF), Swift Energy Company (NYSE:SFY), and Newfield Exploration Company (NYSE:NFX) among the Oil and Gas stocks. Enerplus Corporation has a score of F while Swift Energy Company and Newfield Exploration Company rated F and F. Swift Energy Company is performing worst overall in the sector, with a 59.5% decline over the last 12 months.

The Marine sector is trailing behind others this week, with 57% of its stocks (4 out of 7) rated a “sell”. With a grade of D, Diana Shipping (NYSE:DSX) and Navios Maritime Partners LP (NYSE:NMM) are weighing down the sector. DryShips (NASDAQ:DRYS) also ranks a low F.
