Another big week of earnings releases bumped up dividends, led by oil giant BP (BP). Skin care manufacturer Estee Lauder (EL) represented the retail sector with a nice dividend raise, while two major real estate investment trusts, including Public Storage (PSA) also found their way to increases.
A total of eighteen companies made it onto our Companies Increasing Dividends list for the week. (Note: All yields are as of Nov. 1).
Integrated oil and gas producer and distributor BP (BP) raised its quarterly dividend 5.6% to 9.5 cents per share. A payout and ex-dividend date for the distribution have yet to be announced.

Gaming, pari-mutuel horse racing, and casino operator Churchill Downs (CHDN) raised its annual dividend 21% to 87 cents per share, payable on Jan. 6, 2014 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 6, 2013.

Medical technology products manufacturer Conmed (CNMD) raised its quarterly dividend 33% to 20 cents per share, payable on Jan. 6, 2014 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 16, 2013.

Joplin, Miss.-based public utility Empire District Electric (EDE) raised its quarterly dividend 2% to 25.5 cents per share, payable on Dec. 16 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 2.

Skin care and beauty cosmetics manufacturer and marketer Estee Lauder (EL) raised its quarterly dividend 11% to 20 cents per share, payable on Dec. 16 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 29.

Ship builder Huntington Ingalls (HII) raised its quarterly dividend 100% to 20 cents per share, payable on Dec. 13 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 29.

Mineral-based specialty products manufacturer Innophos (IPHS) raised its quarterly dividend 14% to 40 cents per share, payable on Nov. 29 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 15.

Full service bank and asset management company JMP Group (JMP) raised its quarterly dividend 14% to 4 cents per share, payable on Nov. 29 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 15.

Neighborhood and community shopping center real estate investment trust Kimco (KIM) raised its quarterly dividend 7.1% to 22.5 cents per share, payable on Jan. 2, 2014 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 30, 2013.

Regional mall operator and real estate investment trust General Growth Properties (GGP) raised its quarterly dividend 8% to 14 cents per share, payable on Jan. 2, 2014 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 13, 2013.

Welding, cutting and brazing products manufacturer Lincoln Electric (LECO) raised its quarterly dividend 15% to 23 cents per share, payable on Jan. 15, 2013 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 31, 2013.

Automobile insurance holding company Mercury General (MCY) increased its dividend 0.4% to 61.50 cents per share, payable on Dec. 26 to shareholders of record Dec. 12.

Norwich, New York-based financial holding company NBT Bancorp (NBTB) raised its quarterly dividend 5% to 21 cents per share, payable on Dec. 15 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 1.

Self-storage real estate investment trust Public Storage (PSA) raised its quarterly dividend 12% to $1.40 per share, payable on Dec. 30 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 13.

Industrial goods and products manufacturer Standex (SXI) raised its quarterly dividend 25% to 10 cents per share, payable on Nov. 25 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 11.

Securities and brokerage services company TD Ameritrade (AMTD) raised its quarterly dividend 33% to 12 cents per share, payable on Nov. 19 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 7. AMTD also declared a special dividend of 50 cents per share, payable on Dec. 17 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 3.

Honolulu, Hawaii-based federally chartered bank Territorial Bancorp (TBNK) raised its quarterly dividend 7.6% to 14 cents per share, payable on Nov. 27 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 14.
