The woman known as the Burger King Baby — after being abandoned in a Burger King (BKW) 27 year ago — was reunited with her birth mother after posting her story on Facebook (FB).

Katheryn Deprill posted to the social media website that she was searching for her mother, who had left her as an hours-old newborn in an Allentown, Pennsylvania Burger King.

“I want her to know that I am not mad at her for what she did, however I have so many questions to ask her and also to start a relationship with my biological mother.”

“Please help me find her by sharing my post,” the media-dubbed Burger King Baby added. “Maybe she will see this.”

And see it she did.

The mother and daughter were reunited on Monday.

“They immediately hugged,” said Jim Waldron, an attorney who arranged the meeting at the request of Deprill’s birth mother told WFMZ. “It was exciting, emotional, dramatic.”

Deprill’s mother had been raped and hid the pregnancy from her parents — having the child and leaving her in a safe location where she would be found.

The reunion was attended by Deprill’s adoptive mom and her birth mother’s husband.

The birth mother’s name is being withheld by Deprill to protect her privacy.
