Krystal Burger is looking to make a comeback by touring the U.S. and adding new locations.
The fast food chain will test its new product on a nationwide food truck tour where it will give away 1,000 burgers in 10 cities. Krystal Burger will travel over 2,000 miles, hitting cities in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida.
The product in question is the Krystal Stackers which are two-patty burgers that can be ordered in four different ways: the Original with its traditional toppings of onions, pickles and mustard, the Cheese Stacker with slices of American cheese, the Bacon and Cheese stacker with bacon or the Deluxe Stacker with its traditional toppings plus lettuce, tomato and mayo.
Krystal Burger will also spend $1.1 million to add 15 to 20
New Orleans restaurants to add to its existing 350 locations.
