Twitter is testing out a “Buy Now” button for a small percentage of mobile users. The Buy Now button first shows users additional product details when it’s clicked on. After this, users can enter payment and shipping information to make a purchase. This information is stored after the first purchase to make additional purchases easier to complete.
While only a small number of Twitter users are currently seeing the Buy Now button, the social media website claims that it will be expanding its test to include more users. The test partners included at this point are Fancy, Gumroad, Musictoday and Stripe.
Buy Now buttons were first spotted by Twitter users in June.
