Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is offering free same-day shipping to Amazon Prime members in some areas.
The new Amazon Prime shipping option is available is 14 cities. To be eligible for the free same-day shipping, Prime members must spend $35 or more on an order. The orders must be placed by Noon and will show up by 9:00 p.m. that night. The new shipping option is available seven days a week, reports The Seattle Times.
Amazon Prime members that have an order that costs less than $35 can still get same-day shipping in these areas, but it’ll cost them $5.99 per order. Customers that aren’t Prime members can also select same-day shipping for $9.98 an order.
