Musician David Bowie passed away on Sunday after battling cancer.
David Bowie was 69 at the time of his death and had been fighting cancer for 18 months. The type of cancer that he was afflicted with hasn’t been revealed and his family has asked for privacy during this time, reports CNN.
“I knew for a year this was the way it would be. I wasn’t, however, prepared for it,” Tony Visconti. David Bowie’s producer, told BBC News. “He was an extraordinary man, full of love and life. He will always be with us.”
