Taco Bell to Limit Antibiotics in Chicken

Taco Bell (NYSE:YUM) is making another major change to the quality of its products.

Taco BellIn November, the fast food chain pledged to only carry cage-free eggs by the end of this year. Now, its chicken will be healthier as well.

The chain will only be serving chicken that have not been treated with antibiotics at its U.S. restaurants. All Taco Bells will have this initiative in place as of 2017.

Among other companies taking antibiotic-free or reduced initiatives are McDonald’s and KFC.

YUM stock is down 0.5% Tuesday.
