According to a report from Bloomberg, Larry Page has been personally funding Zee.Aero, a startup focusing on flying cars, since its creation in 2010. It has expanded over the years and Page is also funding Kitty Hawk, which is working on rival flying car designs.

Kitty Hawk’s president is Sebastian Thrun, who was the head of Google’s self-driving car project. It also has many employees that were previously a part of Zee.Aero, which has received over $100 million in funding from Larry Page since its launch.

Google’s self-driving car efforts have been expanding with it teaming up with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (FCAU) for work on the project. It’s also added some strange concepts, such as glue to hold pedestrians to a car during a crash.
