Pokemon News: Build-a-Bear to Add Eevee to Lineup

Eevee has been added to the lineup of Build-a-Bear Pokemon.

The popular fox Pokemon — named as one of the cutest video game characters of all time — has been selected by the company as its next large plush. Previous Pokemon plushes include Charizard and a Pokeball, as well as a T-shirt and an exclusive trading card.

Eevee will be available at Build-a-Bear workshop locations starting September 1st. The doll is available wearing two different types of hoodies–one of these represents the Pokemon’s various evolutions.

The company also has a Pikachu plush that retails for $28, or $60 for the complete “web exclusive” set that includes a trading card.

Pokemon Go continues to be the hottest video game out there at the moment, recently garnering a series of updates

that allows trainers to see detailed stats of their creature, including Attack and Defense.

There are also new spawning nests with the update, allowing players to see different Pokemon than before. This allows for rare Pokemon to potentially appear in different places.

Build-a-Bear consists of plushes that are either created by the company which you can buy as they are, or dolls that you can customize. There are more than 400 workshops around the nation.

The company website reads that there are more than 30 “furry friends” that you can buy and switch around through Build-a-Bear. There are hundreds of outfits and accessories that you can use to make your plush unique.
