An update to Google (GOOG) Hangouts brings several new features to the app.
The Google hangouts update was announced by Bradley Horowitz, the vice president of Product for Google+, on Wednesday morning. Horowitz announced the update at the LeWeb conference being held in Paris, reports TechCrunch.
“It’s texting, it’s telephony, it’s one-to-one, it’s many-to-many, it’s consumer, it’s enterprise. It’s not like throwing a dart and hitting one app like ephemeral imaging,” Horowitz told Cnet while talking about Google Hangouts. “We’re trying to do something broader that helps people communicate wherever they are using whatever products they prefer.”
Here are some of the updates added to Google Hangouts, as collected from TechCrunch.
