Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird is getting a sequel.
It’s titled Go Set a Watchman
and it’s set in the 1950s with several lead characters from the original. To Kill a Mockingbird was released in 1960.
Lee thought the book had been lost as it was written before her groundbreaking novel. Go Set a Watchman was discovered by Lee’s attorney.
“It features the character known as Scout as an adult woman and I thought it a pretty decent effort,” Lee said.
Publisher Harper is releasing Go Set a Watchman this July.
