Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is looking to hire 6,000 full-time employees in the United States.
The Amazon hiring spree will add additional workers at the company’s distribution centers in the U.S. These locations already act as workplaces for 50,000 full-time employees. Workers will be tasked with picking, packing and shipping products to fulfill online orders from the company’s website, reports Associated Press.
“Right now, we just have a pretty big hole to fill from an operations standpoint,” Jason Muller, operations manger at Amazon, told Allentown Morning Call last month.

- Connecticut — Windsor
- Delaware — Middletown
- Indiana –Jeffersonville, Plainfield and Whitestown.
- Kentucky — Hebron, Lexington
- Maryland — Baltimore
- New Jersey — Robbinsville
- Pennsylvania — Breinigsville, Carlisle and Hazleton.
- South Carolina — West Columbia
- Tennessee — Chattanooga and Murfreesboro.
- Texas — Haslet
- Virginia — Chester and Petersburg.
- Wisconsin — Kenosha
