zTailors: Men’s Wearhouse Founder Launches ‘Uber for Tailors’ App

Men’s Wearhouse founder George Zimmer has launched a new business called zTailors.

Men's Wearhouse

The app works like an Uber for tailoring clothes, offering the chance to order a tailor straight to your doorstep. These workers will then measure and alter anything on your closet.

zTailors employees work on a fixed price per item of clothing. You will pay between $10 and $25 per item, depending on what alterations you need done.

Zimmer said not all clothes “appear on the good side of the closet. It doesn’t all fit. That’s either because it has shrunk, or you have grown.”

zTailors has 600 tailors in most major cities around the US. The company will expand to all 50 states by the end of the year.
