TrueCar CEO (NASDAQ:TRUE) Scott Painter has been replaced.
Chip Perry has been named as the new boss of the company. Here are five things to know about him:
- He is the former CEO of AutoTrader.com, which he led from 1993 through 2013.
- The website generates $1.5 billion in annual revenue, with more than 16 million visitors to its website.
- The company is currently trying to rebuild its dealer relationships which have been affected and led to several lawsuits and Perry is being tabbed to do so.
- “My initial focus will be on TrueCar’s dealer partners—listening to them and finding ways to serve them better,” the 62-year-old Mr. Perry said.
- TrueCar generated revenue of $196.3 million through the first nine months of this year and Perry plans on continuing this upswing.
TRUE stock is up 6.75% Monday.
