August 2016 is almost here and that means moviegoers are getting ready for more pictures coming to the big screen.
While there aren’t as many movies coming out in August 2016 due to the summer movie buzz coming to an end, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some interesting films still on the way. DC’s Suicide Squad comes out this month and it’ll likely appeal to comic book and action movie fans.
Several new movies will come out this month and there’s even a remake or two, including Walt Disney Co’s (NYSE:DIS) new take on Pete’s Dragon, as studios try to cash in on nostalgia from older films.
There will also be plenty of family films that parents can take their children to in August 2016. This includes Nines Lives, Kubo and the Two Strings and more. Just don’t make the mistake of thinking the animated film Sausage Party is meant for kids.
Unfortunately, many films coming out in August will only have limited releases, and this means there won’t be showings in all areas.
