Thursday Apple Rumors: Possible Image of iPhone 6 Battery Revealed

aapl-applePass: Apple (AAPL) has stared bringing its new iTunes Pass feature to several countries. iTunes Pass works by allowing users to have an Apple specialist upload money to their iTunes account, reports MacRumors, The service is deigned to streamline the process that iTunes users who use gift cards have to go through when adding funds to their accounts. The service was released in Japan on Tuesday and started up in the United States on Wednesday. The service is also available to iTunes users in Germany.

Battery: An image of what is claimed to be the 1,810 mAh battery that will appear in the 4.7-inch version of the upcoming iPhone 6 has hit the net, AppleInsider notes. As with most leaked images, there is no way to confirm if this is actually the battery that will be used in the device. While the image does show off the supposed 1,800 mAh battery for the samller iPhone 6, there was no sight of the larger 2,500 mAh battery that is rumored to be put in the 5.5-inch iPhone 6.

Sales: Apple has yet to release its quarter three earnings report, but analysts are already making estimations concerning how many iPhones the company has sold, reports 9to5Mac. On the high side of the predictions, analyst estimate that the company could have sold as many as 40 million iPhones during the third quarter of 2014. Low estimates from analysts place that number at 31.8 million. If Apple does post iPhone sales of around 35 million, that will be a roughly 15% increase over sales from the same time last year.
