apple-aaplBeta: Apple (AAPL) has released the third update to its iOS 8 beta to developers, reports MacRumors. The beta updated was first rumored to be released Tuesday, but it came a day early. New features in the third beta update include new options for the  iCloud Drive, a settings toggle for Handsoff and the ability to turn QuickType on and off. IOS 8 is expected to be released at the same time that the new iPhone is launched.

iWatch: Apple is rumored to be launching the iWatch later this year. Business Insider notes that this will be the first new product in a new category for the company since its 2010 launch of the iPad. The iWatch is expected to run on a modified system of iOS and have a 2.5-inch rectangular or round screen. The device is rumored to be focused on fitness and will have 10 different senors on it. Athletes, such as Kobe Bryant, are rumored to be testing the watch for Apple.

Battery: The 4.7-inch version of the iPhone 6 is rumored to be getting a 1,800 mAh battery. This will give Apple’s new iPhone a 15% boost over the battery in the iPhone 5s, AppleInsider notes. The 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 6 is rumored to contain a 2,500 mAh battery. This would be a 60% increase over the battery in the iPhone 5S. However, these batteries are similar in size to the ones used in rival products.
