The petition was started on Change.org and it was made in regard to graphics problems with 2011 versions of the MacBook Pro. The petition is addressed to CEO Tim Cook and senior vice president of software engineering Craig Federighi.

According to the petition, the graphics issues with the 2011 MacBook Pros is part of a manufacturing problem. It also claims that everyone who invested in the device wasted $2,500 on a product that has failed after only a few years.

The petition’s goal is to reach 15,000 signatures.

The petition isn’t the only place that people are complaining about graphics failures in their 2011 MacBook Pros. One support fourm thread that is dedicated to the issue has over 7,800 messages and 1.1 million views, reports Computer World.

Apple has yet to address the MacBook Pro issue.
